Summer is here!
Summer means fun in the sun and finding
ways to keep cool. Here's a great recipe for Peach Sorbet that's easy to make and sure to cool you off! Remember, always ask an adult for help when using the stove.
Peach Sorbet
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup water
2 cups pureed fresh or canned peaches
2-4 tablespoons lemon juice
In a medium saucepan, bring sugar and
water to a boil, stirring constantly. Add
pureed peaches and boil 1 minute. Add lemon juice and place mixture in a freezer safe container until solid.
For a great new treat, freeze sorbet recipe in ice cube trays then add the frozen cubes to your favorite lemonade!
